Launching A Successful Mobile Campaign
A successful campaign depends on its promotion. Following these simple examples will help you get started.
Letting your audience know about the mobile campaign in conjunction with your regular advertising is the surest way. One way to do that is by inserting text similar to this in your ads:
“You can now get special VIP offers sent directly to your cell phone by sending text message IWANT to 41513. You will receive a confirmation message which will entitle you to our special promotion.”

PROMOTION CARD:
This is an example of a promotional card. A restaurant would hand these out and have table toppers placed throughout the restaurant. The same offer can be printed on direct mail pieces or print advertisements. Customers add themselves to the restaurant’s list by texting in from their cell phone. The numbers are captured and stored in the dashboard’s database and the restaurant can text future deals and specials when it’s a bit slow and create an immediate boost in sales
PoP (Point of Purchase)/on-location advertising:
Promotion cards, brochures, table and counter toppers are highly recommended to have your audience respond while they are involved in your location; provides instant gratification.
Face 2 Face:
Have your staff work it into the greeting. “Hi, I’m Bud. Welcome to ABC Restaurant. Does anyone have a text for a free appetizer? NO? Text IWANT to 41513, when I come back with your drinks, show me the message and get a free appetizer.” This builds stronger relations and can answer questions about it being spam free.
